In the field of petroleum drilling and refining equipment, the research institute focuses on laser cladding remanufacturing and surface strengthening of key components such as drill pipe joints, pump rods, mud pump liners, fracturing pump valve boxes, and large compressor crankshafts. By using additive manufacturing technology, special alloy powder is uniformly melted onto damaged or corroded surfaces of workpieces, forming a high-strength, high wear resistant, and hydrogen sulfide corrosion-resistant protective layer. This significantly extends the service life of repaired components under extreme working conditions such as high pressure and strong corrosion in deep wells, effectively reducing oilfield operation and maintenance costs and improving equipment reliability.
